Accomplishing our goal of maintaining and preserving the COLLIE'S natural appearance,
characteristics and abilities was never more evident than the results of the
SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOWS
The infusion of American Bloodlines and selective line-breeding has cemented the cornerstone
to our kennels, producing a prepotency into our Collies, evident both in their achievements and
as top producers influencing correct COLLIE type.
All our exhibits at the 2001 Sydney Royal Show were either progeny of
THE BEST OF BREED, or a half-brother or half-sister.
BEST OF BREED
Sydney Royal Easter Show 2001

Ch. Vedamea the Diamond Beau
This momentous event, pictured above, reflects ' Beau' imperceptibly
assuming a winning demeanor, capturing him the ultimate award.
Our animal husbandry, correct COLLIE type and exquisite heads,
ensured VEDAMEA COLLIES were... NEVER OFF THE WINNERS PEGS!

Ch. Vedamea the Diamond Beau (Beau)
As at all past Sydney Royal Shows, Ch. Vedamea the Diamond Beau
has had to compete with his half brother, Ch. Vedamea Courtin The Blues
for a place on the winners pegs....... this year was no exception.
Competing in the Open Dog Class, Cass placed 5th among the official
(6) placings.
OPEN DOG CLASS

Ch. Vedamea Courtin the Blues (Cass)
JUNIOR DOG
Our first class of the show with first place going to our very promising youngster:

Vedamea Abeau Ryginal (Rydgie Didge)
Right behind him, placing 2nd in the class, was his litter brother Vedamea Night Heir.
Shown sparingly to date, Rydgie Didge is endowed with an intrinsic richness of
character and a highly-developed sense of appropriateness, similar to that of his sire...
Ch. Vedamea The Diamond Beau.
PUPPY BITCH
And yet another daughter of Ch. Vedamea the Diamond Beau
out of the recently-imported American Champion Highcroft Caliente (USA),
among strong competition and the youngest in the biggest class of the day, Lochwind Artistique
placed officially 5th, whilst her breeders Gail Jones and Dr Alan McGregor B.V.Sc. watched with pride from ringside.

Lochwind Artistique (Remy)
This exquisite young lady undoubtedly has a bright future. The Collie puppy is so incredibly gorgeous
that any breeder of today would (or should!) want to take her home in a heartbeat!
OPEN BITCH
Elegance and Class that captures the heart as well as the eye earned yet another half sister
to Ch. Vedamea the Diamond Beau a place on the Winners Pegs!

Ch. Vedamea My Lead (Flirt)
FLIRT, performed to perfection in a
quality-packed class of Champions...... demanding no less than 2nd placement.
Plans to breed Flirt are already in progress and we trust her
progeny will achieve the same status in the show ring as she has.

"SPYDER"
The 2005
Sydney Royal Easter Show was once again dominated by Vedamea Collies,
among them 'Spyder' who continued his winning ways and
followed in the footsteps of his sire; Ch: Vedamea
The Diamond Beau (see top of page).
'Spyder' took the coveted honour of
Best Of Breed, handled by his number one fan, Donna Morris.
This momentous event, pictured above, reflects their magical connection
as 'they' imperceptibly assume a winning 'professional' demeanor. This
'connection' assures that 'they' captivate the judge and ringside alike.
'Spyder,' only
marginally ahead of three of his litter mates, and his daughter, also made the final cut
for the
Working Dog Group - no mean feat for a dog barely two years old!
