LATEST PUPPY PHOTOS (18/9/06) AT BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE

Sire: Vedamea Fantasy By'Knight     Dam: Robgai DoeRayME (IID)

From the litter of (6) pups sired by Ch: Vedamea The Diamond Beau out of Fantasy Fait Accompli (Imp USA), born on their dams birthday - 14th November 2002, we retained four youngsters here at VEDAMEA , and the another two were sold to seasoned  collie breeders of Baqilodge Collies in Tasmania, and Naywe Collies here in Sydney.

ALL of these six pups began their show career amassing impressive record from their very first show at both All Breed and Speciality Shows. One of the most impressive wins would have been at the Illawarra Collie & Shetland Sheepdog Speciality when they were (10) months old, under Sheltland Sheepdog specialist,  Mr. Barry Keetley (New Zealand).

PHANTOM  was awarded Challenge Dog, whilst his brother SPYDER, was awarded Reserve Challenge Dog. Then their litter sister FLUTE, went on to take Challenge Bitch and Best Of Breed, and Runner Up In Show, whilst the other litter sister MARILYN, was awarded Reserve Challenge bitch and Puppy In Show.

Before the age of 12 months ALL 6 pups from this quality packed  litter were pointed, and four are very close to the titles.

VEDAMEA COLLIES  proudly introduce their get and trust you can appreciate their progress as much as we can.

CLAY "own's" Sue & Wayne Frankland of Naywe Collies in Sydney. He has given them endless pleasure both in show ring competition, and as a loyal and loving companion at home.

Like his liter brothers CLAY  was also well on the way to his title when the Australian summer called for his coat, but not before he was invited to compete for Puppy of the Year. He has endless Speciality and All Breeds wins to his credit and no doubt will have many more when he returns to the ring in his new attire -  approx March 2004.

Pictured here at 10 months, "Flute" was awarded Best Of Breed and Runer Up In Show at he Illawarra Collie & Shetland Sheepdog Club under Specialist, Mr. Barry Keetley (New Zealand).

Both Flute & Marilyn were slow to begin their show careers, their first shows being in the Minor class at the Collie National in South Australia, judged by U.K. Collie Specialist, Mrs. Valarie Geddes. (Ingledene Collies).  Flute was 2nd to her cousin (Swinbrad Am I Not Pretty), whilst her litter sister Marilyn was placed 3rd in the class. Both these young ladies have been consistent winners from that day onwards.

Like her litter mates, Flute left the show ring when she dropped coat at the beginning of the extremely hot Australian summer. She to will return approx. March 2004.

Vedamea Just A Fantasy

"Paris"

"Paris" owns Mim Bester of Baqilodge Collies, in Tasmania. Right from the whelping box she was everyone's "pick!" Just so so so pretty, and such a typey bitch that she made everyone's heart skip a beat!

Along with all her other litter mates she has been a great representative of  Vedamea Collies and very competitive in the show ring with many notable wins to her credit. Her major hurdle has been her "kennel mate"" and "best friend"  Arcady.

Vedamea Didgeriblue (Cairo)
Vedamea Didgeriblue (Cairo)

Vedamea Didgeriblue  is endowed with an intrinsic richness of character, similar to that of his Grandsire, Ch. Vedamea The Diamond Beau.

Cairo was awarded his first Best Of Breed and Puppy In Show All Breeds, at eight months of age. This youngster, undoubtedly, has a bright future and is often Reserve Dog to his sire Vedamea Abeau Ryginal. His dam is the exquisite White Merle Vedamea In My Ivory Gown.

D.O.B. 8-10-01

Sire: Ch: Vedamea The Diamond Beau   Dam: Vedamea Dealers Choice

"Saint" is an extremely intelligent young collie with a terrific sense of humour. He "owns"  The Smith Family in Kellyville  N.S.W.. His senior master and constant companion, Ken Smith,  has worked with him daily since he was a young pup, finding him to be a truly talented collie and great fun to work with. His high energy and quick learning ability proved him to be an eager soccer player, an avid retriever and a talented Obedience Dog. As a consequence "Saint" is well ahead in his class as he aspires to attain his Obedience Title.

He also enjoys walking the trials alongside the two young " Smith ladies," as they climb the hills on horse back, arrogantly assuming that he will always be the first to the end of the trial.  "Saint" is a proud, assertive dog who    likes to be the 'one and only '
